May 20, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta – For the ninth consecutive year, Alberta business leader Shannon Bowen-Smed has been honoured as one of Canada’s top 100 businesswomen by PROFIT/Chatelaine magazines.
The president and CEO of BOWEN made the 18th annual PROFIT/Chatelaine W100 Top Female Entrepreneurs list again this week, ranking 66th. Since joining the company in 1984, Bowen-Smed is credited with growing BOWEN from a regional employment agency to an industry leader in recruitment and contractor management services for a wide range of sectors.

Organizers of the PROFIT/Chatelaine W100 rank female business leaders according to a proprietary formula that combines the sales, three-year revenue growth rate and profitability of their businesses.
