Shannon Bowen-Smed Awarded 2018 Women Business Enterprise of the Year


Calgary, Alberta (September 27, 2018) – Today WBE Canada awards Shannon Bowen-Smed, President & CEO of BOWEN Group 2018 Canadian Women Business Enterprise of the Year.

The WBE of the Year recognizes one woman-owned business enterprise in Canada demonstrating excellence in business, namely through growth, innovation, accomplishments, impact on the economy and dedication to community service.

Each year, WBE Canada awards women-owned business enterprises (WBEs) who have achieved outstanding success and corporations and government who lead the way in supplier diversity. This year’s categories included WBE of the Year, Supplier Diversity Leader of the Year, Corporation of the Year and President’s Award.
